Art Reach of Mid Michigan announces their second session of the Arts Alive Program. Arts Alive Spring 2008
is a program designed to give 15 area 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and their parents a chance to participate in Arts events in the community as well as workshops in creative writing and illustration.

Arts AliveThe Arts Alive Program will consist of the following events:

Monday, February 11: 5:30-6:30pm, Art Reach Center
Introduction: What Inspires You? Overview of Itinerary. Pizza will be provided.

Saturday, February 16: 7:00pm Depart from Art Reach Center
8:00pm Theatrical Performance, Alma College Theatre, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Thursday, February 21: 6:30pm, Tours of Art Exhibitions at CMU’s University Art Gallery and Park Library
8:00pm Performance, University Band and Symphony Band Concert, Staples Family Music Center

Thursday, February 28: 6:00-8:00pm, Art Reach Center
Photography Workshop

Monday, March 10: 6:00-8:00pm, Art Reach Center
Drawing Workshop

Thursday, March 13: 6:00-8:00pm, Veteran’s Memorial Library
Creative Writing Workshop

Thursday, March 20: 6:00-8:00pm, Art Reach Center
Printmaking Workshop

Saturday, March 22: Depart from Art Reach Center 8:00am
Day Trip to Grand Rapids:
Grand Rapids Art Museum, Rapid Exposure: Andy Warhol in Series
Frederik Meijer Gardens: Sculpture Park and Art Gallery

Thursday, March 27: 5:30-6:30pm, Art Reach Center
Closing Night: Reflection
