About the Artist:
"My exhibition is primarily a series of black and white photographs of African animals that depict their relationship with the environment. The images reflect the textures of their native habitat and reveal a stature or integrity that is lost when viewing these creatures in a zoo or in living color.
The African woman is the center of the exhibition. She represents the heart of Africa and the relationship she has with flora and fauna. Thus, the trees and animal photos extend from her sides.
At opposite ends of the presentation is a color photo depicting a more romanticized view of African wild life."
