VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Art Reach of Mid Michigan. We currently have hundreds of active volunteers who help keep our doors open. Please contact us if you are able to lend your time or talent to any of the following programs.

Art Reach Picture Program

Volunteers spend several hours per month, between October and May, in one of our 33 elementary schools. During these sessions, students will explore two fine art reproductions each month and begin to learn and appreciate art history.

Art Reach provides research materials and training necessary to work with these children. This is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers passionate about education and inspiring children.

Art Reach on Broadway Gallery & Gift Shop

Our gift shop is a haven for unique gifts and works of art from local artists. Volunteers serve as shop clerks and can work at their discretion - once a week or once a month!

Shifts run from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Additional volunteers are especially needed during the Holiday Boutique, Sidewalk Sales, Mardi Gras and Art Walk.

Healing Arts

Volunteer artists provide hands-on projects for local retirement facilities on a monthly basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide companionship and are appreciation for local retirees. Volunteers may arrange their own schedule with the provided care facility.

Gallery Set Ups

Volunteers set up and tear down gallery exhibits each month. Galleries showcase local artists at Art Reach on Broadway, Mid-Michigan Health Park, Veterans Memorial Library and Isabella County Commission on Aging.

Clerical Work

Regular clerical volunteers at Art Reach can help with organization and paper work. It is an excellent opportunity to lend your skills to the community.

Special Events

Art Reach offers seasonal special events throughout the year for the community. We welcome enthusiastic volunteers who are eager to be involved with their community. Click here to see our current events.
