Take the mystery out of the array of colored drawing materials and let us provide an art buffet to sample from! Instructor Annie Croft will lead this workshop in exploring color though assorted drawing media, demonstrating how each material works best. Students will sample from oil and chalk pastels, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, and water-soluble wax pastels to learn how they each function, layer, blend and the amazing colors each can produce. Emphasis is placed on play and experimentation, requiring no prior experience or artistic ability. All experience levels are truly welcome.
This workshop will be held from 3-5 pm on Thursday, November 12, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
Recommended age: 13 and up
