FreakFest: A Spooktacular Celebration of Art and Community

FreakFest is Art Reach’s newest and most spirited program, designed to bring the community together for a creative and festive Halloween-themed celebration. Held annually in the heart of the Mt. Pleasant Town Center, this event transforms the area into a hub of spooky fun and artistic expression for all ages.

FreakFest creates an unforgettable experience with a wide variety of attractions and activities that delight attendees. From creative craft stations and outdoor games to unique photo-worthy features, the event buzzes with energy and excitement. Local businesses join the fun by hosting complementary activities, making the entire downtown area come alive with Halloween spirit.

FreakFest is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of imagination, creativity, and community togetherness. Whether you’re exploring the art marketplace, participating in festive contests, or simply enjoying the Halloween atmosphere, there’s something for everyone at this one-of-a-kind gathering.

Looking Ahead

Join us in the Mt. Pleasant Town Center from noon–5 pm Saturday, October 18, for a community celebration full of art and spooky fun! Activities will rotate in two sessions, from 12–2:30 pm and 2:30–5 pm, offering different creative projects for all ages. Test your skills in the straw maze or a game of cornhole, then take the stage for the costume contests: ages 0–17 at 1 pm, ages 18 and older at 2 pm, pets at 3 pm, and group entries at 4 pm.

FreakFest is free to attend and open to all ages. Bring your friends and family, dress in your best costume, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and festive fun!
