Join instructor Tanya Ehrsam for the next step in your quilting journey. If you took the “Easy Street” quilting class, or if you have an unfinished quilt top lying around, you will learn how to finish your quilt. Bring your chosen backing fabric, batting, and your finished quilt top to learn the layering, basting, and machine- or hand-quilting process to add reinforcement and texture. You will finish your quilt with double-edged binding to have a piece of functional fiber art that you can be proud to use and display.
Plan to bring your sewing machine or Art Reach can provide one to use. You may bring a snack or lunch.
This workshop will be held 10 am-2 pm on Friday, June 26, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Recommended age: 16 and up
