Art Flair: A Celebration of Creativity and Community

Art Flair is one of Art Reach’s most beloved programs, blending creativity, craftsmanship, and community spirit. This annual summer event showcases unique painted and embellished wooden furniture pieces, including Adirondack chairs, benches, planters, and more. Each piece is carefully crafted by talented artists from mid-Michigan using furniture refurbished or built by dedicated volunteer woodworkers.

How It Works

Local businesses sponsor and display these vibrant art pieces, transforming downtown Mount Pleasant into an open-air gallery. Community members are invited to bid on their favorite creations online or in person at Art Reach. Voting for the People’s Choice Prize takes place on the Art Reach Facebook page, making it easy for everyone to participate and support this cherished tradition.
