Learn a new skill while creating beautiful cards just in time for the holidays. Instructor Tena Gilbreath will guide students in designing, carving, and printing their own set of unique holiday cards, perfect for personalized gifting. After designing your preferred holiday imagery, you’ll learn how to carve into linoleum blocks, apply ink, and use printing techniques to print your series of cards. Your linoleum blocks will be yours to keep and reuse for future years. No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided. Bring a friend, a warm beverage and settle into the season with some creativity!
This two-session workshop will be held from 3-5 pm, on Thursday, November 19 & Friday, November 20, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
Recommended age: 16 and up
