Join us for a crash course in the art of plein air! Led by instructor Cheryl Meyer, we invite you to explore the world around us while capturing its essence with a watercolor palette.
The class is suitable for beginners and intermediate artists alike, providing a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for everyone. The class will learn the basics of plein air painting in watercolor and take our work to the streets of downtown Mt. Pleasant. Recreate historical architecture. Capture light and color in the moment. Instructions will be based on our surroundings. If it rains, we will work from the classroom. Students should bring a camp chair or stool to sit on location.
This workshop takes place from 9 am-noon, Friday, May 15, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at 111 E. Broadway St. in Mt Pleasant.
Students should bring a camp chair. All other supplies are provided.
Recommended ages: 16 and up
