Have something to say but unsure of how to put it out into the world? Join instructor Laura Swanberg and embrace your inner poet. During this 2-week workshop, students will explore beginner-level poetry writing. You’ll learn different genres of poetry and discover that it has no limits. The workshop will guide you in sourcing inspiration, and allow you to form poems in your authentic voice. Time will be dedicated to sharing with class and understanding the benefit of editing.

No writing experience? No problem! This is a terrific opportunity for writers of all levels wanting to explore and discover poetry.

This 2-week course will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, October 29 & November 5 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.

Recommended age: 14 and up
