Bring on the fall vibes with an exploration of gouache in this gourd-themed workshop with instructor Annie Croft. Gouache looks like a mix of acrylic and watercolor, offering more opacity than traditional watercolors, but providing loose blending and rewetting capability. Students will create a variety of seasonal gourds and design as either a single still life painting or cut up and assembled collage style for a quirky mixed media creation. No experience necessary!

This workshop will be held from 10 am-12 pm on Wednesday, September 30, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.

Recommended age: 16 and up
