Beaded Bracelets
Adults and teens are invited to join instructor Pat Thurston to invoke spring through jewelry. This bracelet represents gardens in spring; green stems and leaves with pops of colorful blossoms. Students will learn about some basic jewelry-making supplies and move on to the square stitch technique to form the base of the bracelet. Second, green seed beads topped with splashes of bi-cone crystals embellish the base. All skill levels are welcome. This is a great class for beginners learning to use the square stitch, tie off threads, measure for a bracelet, add a toggle clasp, and embellish a piece. All supplies provided.
This two-week workshop will be held 10a-noon Saturday, May 11 & 18 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at 111 E. Broadway in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
