Join jewelry artist Pat Thurston for a creative jewelry-making opportunity for bibliophiles. Using hammered copper and mixed media, students will learn to cut, texturize, and patina miniature book covers, and to assemble them into mini book pendants. Fill your pages with artful images, meaningful affirmations, or anything you wish to put between the covers. This is a beginner-friendly opportunity to try your hand at working with hammered copper. All supplies provided.
This workshop will be held from 5:30-8 pm on Friday, December 5, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
Recommended ages: Adults & teens
