Join instructor Tanya Ehrsam for a relaxing afternoon of patchwork quilting. Following the “Mums the Word” quilting pattern by Truly Materialistic, students will learn how to cut and piece their table runner top, layer batting, and backing, and finish by quilting. You will leave with a functional piece of art that can be used any time of year, depending on the color scheme. You will be provided a supply list with the yardage needed of cotton fabric so the project can be suited to your color preference. Students may keep their copy of the pattern for future use.
This workshop will be held from 12-4 pm, Saturday, March 7, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Students should bring their selected fabric and their own sewing machine. If you do not have a machine, Art Reach will provide one. Students should have some prior machine sewing experience.

1 ½ yards Background Fabric (Includes runner backing)

20” x 56” Batting/interfacing –Suggested: Decor Bond, Pellon 809
⅓ yard Coordinating Fabric for Binding

Recommended age: 16 and up
